For the most part, I’ve been quite satisfied with the purchases I’ve made from Tarte Cosmetics. However, there’s one item I’ve ordered multiple times and I’m none too satisfied with it. It’s the Maneater mascara. I’ve ordered both the regular & waterproof ones. My issue is not with the performance of this product, it leaves my lashes looking fuller & longer than they normally look, but the fact is, I’m not getting my money’s ($25 a tube) worth. I’m posting this review to say that given the fact that Tarte cosmetics makeup is already sort of “pricey”, they could at least put $25 dollars worth of mascara in the tube. Truth is I’m not a heavy makeup wearing person & after only 3 or 4 times using this product, the tube is already starting to go dry. I’m careful not to leave the tube opened when not using it & no, I do not “pump” the wand in the tube. I just wonder if anyone else, who’s used this same product, has noticed the same thing. I’ll still order the same favorites of mine from Tarte, but, the Maneater mascara will no longer be one of them.
