***AVOID AT ALL COSTS, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED*** I made a purchase with tecobuy for a smartphone (oppo A5 2020) I paid for my order on 15/04/2020 for a total cost of £137.99. I used PayPal express checkout to pay the full amount *and Glad I did* Moments after transaction I received a email as order confirmation/ invoice. Also a email from PayPal notifying me that the payment was sent to tecobuy. That was @ 15/04/20. I made the purchase due to great price and also because I thought it was a UK company. With .co.uk address. So after 7 days of no shipping/ tracking email I began to panic. After searching online for information and tecobuy user reviews. That is when I was convinced I would never see a smartphone or my money again. Over the following days up to yesterday I raised a total Of 20 tickets that promises a reply within 2/3 hours. None of my raised tickets ever got a reply. I also sent 2 emails everyday and again never got a reply. In my account I clicked on my orders tab, this is when I realized my order stated no orders. Last week I contacted PayPal to request a full refund. This morning I got email from PayPal and informed me that they have issued a full refund. The money has gone back to my PayPal. I had read online that PayPal were not offering full refunds and in some cases PayPal would only offer a partial refund once that decision is made by PayPal there is no going back as their decision is final. Please please check website credentials and customer reviews. Since when has a .co.uk domain name and union jack flags used to trick you thinking you ordered from UK but no, they operate solely in HONG KONG. I WILL NEVER USE THIS SITE AGAIN. Sorry for the long reply but feel it is important to inform potential customers the truth. How are they allowed to lie and be acting like scammers ? And why is PayPal working with tecobuy when the complaints are always issues no support, no customer care number, no communication whatsoever. PayPal should ditch tecobuy due to all of the above issues immediately. I feel I was one of the lucky ones for getting a full refund. Finally tecobuy reason for refund states "Lost Item" and I am 100% positive they did nothing and ignore customers. 😁 Thanks for reading 😁
