I purchased a tent for $300, used it once, and it had holes in the base. Tentworld were initially very helpful and lovely and this was exchanged for the same tent, which again I used once a before again it had holes in the base. I reached out to Tentworld for a second time, requesting an exchange or refund, advising that the item is clearly not suitable. And this time I received the most unhelpful, inconsistent, condescending response which didn’t even pretend at being customer service. I was told that typically this is my fault, typically this is west and tear, that I was given benefit of the doubt by the first customer experience from another team member, and offered no solutions other than some tape given to me in approx a months time once it is available (for me to patch up the tent with tape). I am so surprised and disappointed. I am still awaiting a response around my request to speak with management and my request to have this issue presented to OZtrail, the manufacturer of the tent and pending this, will be really vocally sharing this experience and outcome amongst friends and family.
