I had a very poor experience buying from Tentworld. I purchased the below water heater. When I got it home I had problems with it turning off inexplicably. I called the store and spoke to the staff member on the same day that I purchased the unit, who called the manufacturer. He called me back and told me to return the unit to Tentworld for a replacement. I returned in a few days later, and spoke to the store manager. He told me (contrary to the staff member I spoke to) that he had to test the unit. I left it with him, and received a phone call later in the day saying that the unit had to be sent back to the manufacturer for "adjustment". He insisted that he could not refund or replace before the manufacturer had inspected/fixed the unit. He suggested that I could call them to discuss this. I called the manufacturer, who told me that they had tried to walk the manager through the adjustment over the phone. They told me that he had over-tightened the screw and damaged the o-ring inside the unit. The manufacturer had offered to fix the unit. I called back the manager and asked him to explain why he had failed to mention that he had damaged the unit, and had not told me the truth. After getting off the phone, I received a call from the manufacturer, telling me that they had authorised a replacement unit. I still don't know what the outcome was in terms of the damaged unit. I picked up the unit and adjusted the unit with help from the manufacturer over the phone. Unit is working perfectly. I had a really poor experience at Tentworld. I understand that mistakes happen, but don't like being lied to about what is happening.
