Not so much a complaint with the physical stores, but more with the online store. I ordered a coleman 6p darkroom tent on the 27/11 with an estimated shipment of the 2/12, I budgeted around a week delivery so booked a trip from the 14/12 onwards, which I would say is reasonable. I got a email on the 1/12 saying the tent would now be dispatched on the 18/12. I work and run a bike store and have a similar, if not higher supply and demand issue, I can empathise somewhat their issues, but I always quote worst case, say I was told a bike would turn up on the 1/12 I would quote just in time for xmas, to set expectation, not give an unrealistic eta to boost sales, the eta of the 2/12 was still live after I got the email of delay on the 3/12 still!!! Very dissapointed that they couldn't establish a accurate eta only 4 days out. All I got offered was a refund, which is annoying as I missed out on other sales from Snowys etc. Just to clarify the store in Dandenong were great! highly recommend buying in store, just the logistics team clearly need some work, and if you do have delays like this in such short notice offer something as an apology! Will not be buying from their online store again.
