Over the years I have purchased countless items from various online retailers and have NEVER had an experience bad enough to prompt me to provide negative feedback.
Sadly this is not the case with Tentworld. I'm actually taken aback particularly given that I'd always thought Tentworld was a reputable retailer.
Over the past month or so I have been gathering new hiking gear from a number of retailers and made the decision to purchase my tent among other things with Tentworld. The tent was indicated to be on backorder online which was fine as I knew it was going to take a while for me to gather the rest of my gear. It was estimated to be dispatched within a few days so no big deal.
The tent was initially delayed once for another week or so. And then a second time advising estimated dispatch date was now not until October... months away!
Meanwhile the other part of my order which was allegedly dispatched at the start of the month has now been with the courier for coming up to a month! I was not contacted by the courier or Tentworld to advise the order was lost or delayed - I had to open an investigation myself with the courier and with Tentworld.
I am STILL none the wiser as to the whereabouts of my parcel / if it is lost / still coming / compensation being offered.
In the meantime i've been forced to purchase the lost tentworld items from other retailers so will have to arrange returning products in store if / when they ever come.
It's worth noting that I've had 5-6 deliveries from a number of other retailers including Anaconda, Snowies, Wild Earth and more which have all arrived on time without issue. Needless to say this has not been an experience that will be encouraging me to come back to Tentworld any time soon...
