I noticed after I made my order that my old address was tied to my tentworld account (which I normally don't use because I have been using the guest checkout) and that my package will be delivered there. I emailed in straight away and received a quick response (within the hour of the order being made, which was great), confirming it will be sent to my new address. The problem is this wasn't followed up on and 12 hours later, I receive notification from CouriersPlease saying that the package has been picked up and will be delivered to my old address. I tried using the option in the email to change the delivery address.. But their email redirects are broken and don't include the tracking number, and you have no option to manually enter it in.. plus it just won't accept a new address. Hopeless! Tried calling them, but get stonewalled by an IVR.. I give up on CouriersPlease and call Tentworld. I'm assured it will get sorted and an email would be sent to me with the correction. I hear nothing from Tentworld and 3 days later the package arrives at my old address. Thankfully the new resident is honest and called me about it. It's a 45 minute drive to pick it up which I wont get to until the weekend.. If you are in any kind of customer service, you should do what you say you will do. Admittedly, this is a flow on effect from me not checking the address correctly (the billing and delivery address was different) I could have cancelled the order and re-ordered it to save such a stuff around. I have also noticed that CouriersPlease are getting slammed in google reviews for some of the same rubbish I was complaining about. Using a company like this lowers my confidence to buy through Tentworld in future.
