The online purchase of a gift card for my brother. It finally did arrive yet was only received as TentWorld customer service phone staff member helped to find it, which took a bit of messing around on my part, the staff member had to check things and on the gift recipients part. The online experience of purchasing a gift card for another person was confusing, as instead of saying it would be emailed, the online form asks for a physical delivery address on payment and its not clear on final payment how the gift card will be sent to the recipient (post or email?). The surprise was ruined as I had to check with the recipient to see if they had received it, then with TentWorld as they could not find it either in their email or physical address (both were correctly filled out in the online forms). Suggest a rethink of the messaging through the online shopping experience, so its clear to shoppers what is happening with online vouchers purchased as gifts for others living at different addresses. At least, the voucher arrived and the recipient is a frequent TentWorld client so will enjoy it. I am a new client and sadly not impressed as mentioned, above.
