Ordered a Tablet, stated it was in stock, paid for it, money taken by Tesco direct, stated it would be at store after 3pm next day and we would get a confirmation e mail. Got no update went to store and no tablet and staff did not know why and could not tell us its status. A little later it showed on site as "order cancelled". A phone call to the call centre revealed that the item was not in stock but that didnt stop Tesco taking our money. No notification to us that the order had been cancelled, tablet was bought for Grandmas 80th tomorrow! What a shambles!!! Were we supposed to guess or perhaps go to a clairvoyants to find out that Tesco Direct had cancelled our order. Never mind Grandma can watch repeats of Bargain Hunt instead of chatting to her friends on Facebook. Tesco Annan staff tried to help but to be honest I wish I had filmed it,
