Bought a Tesco branded kettle about 12 months ago and on using the kettle yesterday my hand was scolded whilst pouring the water out. On looking at the water level window the top of the plastic window was cracked. The window is inside the handle on the kettle body and would be very difficult to damage the window in this position. I questioned my wife and she confirmed that the kettle had not been dropped or had a accident that could have caused the damage. Realising that this is a safety issue, I wrote a report on the Tesco product website warning of this issue. This morning I read a email from Tesco saying that they had removed my report as it did not meet there criteria. What is the point of Tesco having customer reviews if customers cannot bring issues to attention of potential buyers and also potential injuries due to this issue?
I will never believe or bother reading a Tesco customer review again.
