I am not an AA member but on two occasions, the latter just two days ago, have witnesed atrocious service while accompanying friends whose vehicle had broken down.
Extensive delays in recieving initial assistance, was followed by poor technical competence of the "technician", then even more extensive delays of many hours waiting for the vehicles to be recovered to a garage where to effect a proper diagnosis and repair.
Two AA memberships have subsequently been dropped, and I, having experienced the AA response, would never contemplate using the company whose lame excuse of "being very busy" were identical on both occasions.
