We have been customers for 40 years and their performance has been good when we have needed them. But over the last 10 years or so, each year they have given us a ridiculous renewal quote and we've then had to hassle them for a reasonable one. This year, they wanted over £600. This was enough for us to go looking elsewhere and find we could get equivalent service from a competitor for under £200 which we accepted. Contacted AA to cancel the policy and they offered us the same service for £194!!!! Basically, they are hoping that their existing customers will just roll over and renew without question. Sorry, AA. If that is the way you treat loyal customers, we are better off elsewhere.....
