I was (and almost certainly am) a HiFi neophyte. I spent a great deal of time searching for an appropriate dealer, who knew what they were talking about and who could be trusted. I did not mind travelling from central London to get to the right people. Audiobarn's reviews spoke for themselves and have turned out to be spot on. I spoke to Jack on the phone before coming up for a demonstration. The guys have been a pleasure to deal with. I have found the dealer I will be using for all my HiFi needs from now on (should the need arise). They have lots of stuff. They are smart and know what they are doing. The service is first class. I could not be happier. Specifically, I picked up a Nova, Spendor A7s, a fat power cord, some chord cables, and two Muso QB2s. All of which suits me down to the ground. I spent a few hours with the guys listening to various combinations of stuff - zero pressure (green guys like me often can't hear the difference between stuff - but the Nova and A7s were a great combo and I learnt that the right combinations are really important since it is not enough to simply combine the most expensive stuff willy nilly). Plus, they let my dogs in (which was a good sign). The whole experience was pretty unusual, outside bespoke tailoring.
