While I'm a fiction writer, I still found a lot of useful information.
I get caught in editing and re-editing. I cringe when I buy a badly written book. I just finished Danielle Steel's "The Duchess". It was repetitive, wordy, and her POV was all over the place. The story was interesting, but having the main character's husband die at the end of the book was a let down. It must have been written by a ghost writer, and hardly edited.
My biggest fear is having someone say what I just said about "The Duchess"!
