SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE I placed an order for a ring that was clearly advertised as available for *next day delivery*. This was crucial, as I had made personal and financial arrangements for a special weekend away. I had double-checked that it would definitely arrive, and my order was confirmed, and payment was processed—yet the ring never arrived. Instead, I received an excuse after an excuse. I attempted to arrange a pre-10:30am Saturday delivery to salvage my plans, only to be told this wasn't possible because DPD “had no drivers” in my area—an excuse that felt both implausible and dishonest. Left with no option, I agreed to a Monday by 10:30am delivery and rearranged work commitments to accommodate this. However, in the interim, I received conflicting communications from them: * An email confirming the ring had been dispatched * Another stating it was out of stock and would take two weeks * A third insisting it had been packed and would arrive Monday Predictably—and outrageously—**the ring did not arrive on Monday**, and no one contacted me to explain or apologise. Throughout all of this, the customer support phone lines were down and marked as *closed*. I eventually reached someone through online chat and was contacted by a team leader, who offered no clarity—only more vague explanations and little to no accountability. The “resolution” offered was either delivery on Tuesday (which I no longer trusted) or a refund—which would take **five more days**. A £50 goodwill offer was made on Friday, which I initially accepted. However, when I opted for a full refund due to this irreparably poor service, that same £50 was *deducted* from the refund total. This is unacceptable and essentially penalizes me for the company's failings. I am currently awaiting a full investigation and formal response. Until then, I feel it is my duty to advise others: **Do not trust this company with your special moments.** Shop elsewhere to avoid the risk of ruined plans and empty apologies.
