Spent my first week in the Gold Coast and loved every minute, I had a surfing lesson, went whale watching and spent every morning taking a jog along the coast watching the sunrise (which is a lot more stunning than it is back home). The food was cheap and and nightlife is great and if you'd prefer a more chilled time then there's plenty to do if that's more your vibe. I've spoke to a lot of people who I'll be working with in a couple weeks through the social tab and am already feeling settled in before I've even met them. Couldn't recommend global work any more as they have helped me out with absolutely everything I could think of and more.
