The online reviews that compelled me to order these outrageously expensive tamales were not accurate depiction of their quality. They were described as “ooey gooey with cheese,” but had no discernible cheese in them. The chile was hot, which is good, but the masa fell apart and they crumbled when removed from the husks. I will not order again. The only way to eat them was smothered in queso and more chile, and eating them from a bowl, like mush.
Very disappointed.
