I am writing to express my continued patronage of your establishment over the years, during which I have frequently purchased your chili. This communication pertains to a recent issue with a frozen chili order, which marks my second such complaint.
Previously, I contacted your company regarding a similar issue with frozen chili I had purchased. As a significant amount of time had passed since the acquisition, no resolution was offered at that time. Despite this, I decided to give your product another opportunity.
On this occasion, the chili I received appeared to have been either improperly roasted or previously frozen and then refrozen. The texture was notably chewy, and the chili possessed minimal to no discernible flavor, despite being ordered as "hot." Your automated response indicated potential variations in roasting levels. In my reply, I asserted that all products should be properly roasted before being offered for sale. I proposed returning the unsatisfactory item; however, I was informed that returns are not accepted. Furthermore, a reimbursement was declined, and I was instead offered a 20% discount on a future order, which I declined as I do not intend to make further purchases.
Subsequently, I filed a complaint with PayPal, the method of payment used for this transaction. I am pleased to report that PayPal resolved the matter in my favor and issued a refund. Based on this experience, I would recommend PayPal for their customer support in such situations.
