I received my first frozen bag of Joe Parker (medium) heat. It arrived within 24 hours of my placing an order and was very neatly peeled and packed in a styrofoam container (5 stars). The convenience of having it peeled and packed is well worth the extra cost. I used to travel to New Mexico and bring back bags of fresh chile then hire someone to roast it or spend hours roasting it on my grill. I used my first bag on the day I received it to make Green Chili Hamburgers. I ordered Joe Parker because it is said to be more consistent in heat. My first bag of Joe Parker was not medium but mild (3.5 stars). Almost no detection of heat. Not sure what I will do now!
