First I LOVE HATCH CHILES!! I ordered X-HOT because my husband is from Mexico and likes very hot salsas and sauces. My Daughter lives in Alamogordo, NM and it's hard to bring chiles back to NC (where we currently live). They arrived on time and were very easy to track so they wouldn't just sit on my doorstep. However, out of the 10LBS I ordered, about 70 of the chiles appeared to be not ready to pick. They were really soft and a different color from the others, and some were cut or broken. I'm aware its not easy shipping produce and that I shouldn't expect perfect but I paid $45 for 10LBS and got a right good amount that can't be used.
