Two stars and not one because I did get a second pair in warranty. Unfortunately the second was no better than the first. At first they work great. They amplify all sounds but for an otc that is all you can expect. But after a short while (couple of weeks) they quit working. I have 4 and only one works. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I have purchased other otc hearing aids and had no better result. Now after suffering a profound loss in my left ear, to which I believe has been made worse by these amplifiers, I am going to spend the $8,000 and get some Resound custom aids. I do not blame this company but apparently I am not a candidate for otc aids.
