.) I love their boots. 5 Stars! I live in WI and we have a wide range of temperatures, warm rain to blizzards, and we need different boots depending on the temperature and the moisture we're dealing with.
.) I have 2 pairs currently, 1 pair is for down to 0 F and they're a midcalf boot, fully waterproof. I wear them in spring when we flood from snow melting and the temps are warmer.
.) My other pair goes to -30, fully waterproof, and are tall boots. Those are for slogging thru snow drifts, melting and refreezing snow, and of course extreme negative temperatures. My stadium coat hem meets the top of the boots, so there's very little leg exposed to the bitter winds, sleet and snow.
.) I get asked all the time what my boots are because people can see I'm warm, dry and the boots are cute too! I found that the best deal was buying directly from Mucks Boots with my last pair. There are some retail sporting outlets that carry their boots, but they have a limited amount of styles and colors.
.) My son-in-law is from Paraguay and owns a lot of farm land there. We send down Muck boots to his family every year, they say they are the best farming boots there are. (they get the higher temp rated ones).
.) They last a long time (not sure how long, my are 3 years old and 1 month old, but the 3 year old pair is still waterproof, warm and looks like new still.
.) I wish they had a line with cleats built into the bottom of the boot for walking on ice. But, I can buy slip over cleats too, so this is not a big deal, but I would like to see an all-in-one.
