I started surveying less than a year ago and my crew chief had muck boots. I didn't see the need for them until I got more experience and noticed that having muck boots would be very beneficial to me when out in the field. First for the ditches and water that we deal with all the time. And second for the winter when I am walking through 2 feet of snow. I tried with just my work boots and then I changed to my Sorels and figured that I could just use those in the winter and eventually saw how awesome his were for him. So I decided to get some muck boots and they are the best!! They are so comfy and so useful. I use them when I'm not at work and just playing in the snow. But at work, like today. I had them on all day. We were in and out of a ditch with a few feet of water and it was nice to be able to go in the water to do what I needed to get done. I would recommend these to anyone for sure! Great boots!
