This boot so far is exactly what I expected. I wore out my last pair of Muck Jobbers and wanted a similar boot that had a more aggressive tread. I wear these boots walking the dogs in the woods on dirt trails. These have worked fine so far. I was concerned about sizing so called the sales rep. I wear a size 12 Keen shoe but my Jobbers was a size 11. The rep told me to go with the size 11 - they fit exactly the way I like them too. I've seen other reviewers who said that the back tab rips off when they try to pull the boots on. I haven't had a problem with just putting my foot in and wiggling it around til my foot goes in. If you have to pull on something then pull on the side, not the tab in the back. I normally wear a medium heavy sock and haven't had a problem with the cold yet (I live in the NW so it doesn't get all that cold). I think they may be warm though - they are a black rubber boot after all. All in all a good boot that fits my expectations. Time will tell if they hold up.
