Well, where do I start. I was born in West Africa (highlands of Nigeria during the Biafra Civil War). My parents were born in Tanganika (now Tanzania), my Gran parents and great gran parents as well. I own and use a couple of Kikoys that are over 100 years old. So there is testament to the quality! i was brought up seeing my father and grandfather wearing a kikoy around the house, on the beach ... and so I have used them all my life. What I like about Pink Gecho, is the personal response, the fact they are selling a genuinely good product and just are a really nice attentive company. Pink Gecho give me a good feeling. Plus I like gechos! I live in in Patagonia Argentina & so that throws an interesting angle on things; my kikoys are used in Uruguay, Brazil ... and I have now bought several from Pink Gecho. I now am buying the ones I like as gifts to friends I know who will appreciate one coming in the post! I old black and white photos of kikoys being worn by family on the coast of zanzibar in the 1920's but I can't seem to get on to the photo review; so I will send one of mine which is a purchase from Pink Gecho in recent times, a supper invitation of sorts!
