Would definitely recommend 'The Rug Seller". We visited the Trafford store first as we wanted to see colours and textures at first hand, the lady there was really helpful and knowledgeable about the rugs. We ended up ordering through the Internet a Sierra Apollo rug in purple, although I would describe the colour as plum/damson which is a perfect match for our decor. Great quality, thick woollen rug which I think will be durable. We ordered late Friday evening and the rug was despatched the following Thursday. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was for courier company UPS, who attempted 1 delivery and then left a card saying the rug had been left at a newsagents, this wasn't a problem as I drive but unfortunately as the shop was in a pedestrianised area I had to collect the rug and walk over 1/2 mile back to my car carrying a very large and HEAVY rug. As I understood it, I thought after 1 failed delivery attempt I would get the option to arrange redelivery but this was not the case. For anyone without a car or unable to lift a heavy item, this would have been totally inconvenient.
