The carpet is very nice. However there is an incredible amount of shedding. Apart from having to vacuum there are also vast amounts of fibres which stick to any fabric sitting on it. We recently had our granddaughter to stay who is 8 months old and crawling. We had to cover the carpet with a blanket to prevent her inhaling the fibres. I can only hope that this is because the carpet is new and that this will diminish in time. The experience has put me off buying a wool carpet in the future, I will stick to synthetic.
