When I visited the shop Peter Hemsley spent nearly an hour with me going over various options for sharpening, advised me on drive centres for my lathe and gave me advice on abrasives and other tools. I didn't feel 'sold' to, and I'm entirely confident that everything I bought was essential. Peter also put me in touch with a woodturning tutor, has answered my queries by email and generally been incredibly supportive. Customer service top marks!
