Disappointed with the VAR salmon fillet for it's quality and taste. Reviews online claimed that the fillet was good and tasty, with a flavour of sea salmon. I regretted following the comments. I bought the fillet for a party of six expected it to the the star of the meal. Unfortunately nothing turned out like what they said.
I used to buy Chalk Stream trout for parties. They are far better than salmon. Unfortunately WB replaced it by Steelhead trout, which isn't as good as Chalk Stream trout.
