Disappointed with the VAR salmon fillet for it's quality and taste. Reviews online claimed that the fillet was good and tasty, with a flavour of sea salmon. I regretted following the comments. I bought the fillet for a party of six expected it to the the star of the meal. Unfortunately nothing turned out like what they said. I used to buy Chalk Stream trout for parties. They are far better than salmon. Unfortunately WB replaced it by Steelhead trout, which isn't as good as Chalk Stream trout.

I purchased the Fruit der mee bundle and used it for a 82nd birthday lunch for 6 of us. All I had to do was steam the mussels and langoustines and cut the lobster in half (removing any green bits). I served the oysters as a starter with some shallot vinegar and tobacco sauce. Then the other items crevettes etc were displayed on a tiered silver stand on cracked ice. A few lemon wedges, some aioli and good French bread and butter wax all that was needed. Plenty for six hungry guests. Will definately use Wright Bros again-everything 0acked well and delivered on time. Faultless!

Slightly disappointed as the lobster we had a few weeks previously was beautiful the meat tender and full of flavour unfortunately this time though the flavour was ok the leg meat was good the body meat was rather chewy thus the reason for only 4 stars

Unfortunately, lobsters and crabs are naturally tricky products, and the quality of the meat can vary due to their growth and molting cycle. As a lobster or crab grows, it periodically molts its shell and uses most of its energy to harden the new one. During this phase, the meat content inside the shell can be significantly reduced. This is a completely natural process, and unfortunately, there is no reliable way to determine the meat content from the outside. While we do our very best to source the highest quality seafood, occasional variations like this are sometimes unavoidable. However, I’m sorry to learn that you were slightly disappointed with the Jersey oysters and the size of the sea bass. Regarding the sea bass, the portion size, as stated on our website, can vary between 110g and 140g. This variation is due to natural factors, which are unfortunately beyond our control. As for the oysters, I’m sorry to hear you found them dry. On the day your order was dispatched, we fulfilled many similar orders without receiving any comparable feedback. A Father's Day gift from a daughter brought a dozen Carlingford Loch oysters and two Dover Sole to our household. Absolute bliss. They were in in perfect condition, arrived when we were told they would, and tasted exactly as you would expect.

Excellent service and quality of seafood.I made a mistake with the order which was quickly sorted and instant delivery .Good size lobster Spotlessly clean mussels and oysters. A good number of meaty prawns.All portions generous and really fresh.Highly recommend

The fish arrived exactly on time and were superb. Some of the best dover sole I have eaten. They each were a generous single person serving.

Delivered a day late due to low stock - fine - but mussels were quick to die, only 20 out of 30 odd made it. Probs should have insisted prompt delivery on the Friday when they rang to rearrange. Worse surprise though was that the fish box included farmed salmon. No bueno. Other fish tasted great but generally pretty small sizes.

The Scallops were excellent. The Half Shell Gin was also a spectacular success. The Mussels were also excellent, although I encourage you over order as a number were damaged, not open. All things considered though a fantastic our tea was excellent.
