I bought these because it was 4 for 2 offer and wish i did not buy them at all.they were so small and hardly any meat on them. i weould never buy from Wright brothers again.

Very disappointed in these. For that price expected the lobster to come ready dressed, and not to spend ages doing it myself. If it was in the small print, it was so small I didn’t see it. Expected better for that cost

It states 800g salmon to serve 8 people. It arrived in a packet showing just over 1 kg including skin. The actual total weight was just over 800 g (stated 1.022kg) and only 650g of actual salmon ! V poor .

Hi Iain, Thanks for your review. I'm sorry that you were not happy with the response to your complaint. We do ask that any issues are reported to us within 48 hours of receiving your order either by email or phone. In this case we can see that you placed x3 separate orders containing x3 separate sides of hot smoked salmon, but we were only informed of your dissatisfaction after all three had been received and consumed 19 days after your first order. We will always try to address any complaints in a fair and reasonable way and ask that we are informed of any issues in a timely fashion, particularly if you have further orders due to be delivered so that issues can be addressed, where possible, prior to orders being dispatched. This is a popular product that enjoys great feedback, however we welcome your feedback regarding the seasoning. I was totally disappointed. I am a crab meat lover, growing up on the east coast of the USA, so wanted crab not stuffing. The picture representation of the product is not what was received.

Lacked the freshness and quality expected. This was a high value order and we were left very much disappointed (and underwhelmed) with the products received. Won't be reordering through Wright Bros. Experience tells me that there are better online fish wholesalers to chose from.

Bought 36 Fresh Carlingford Oysters. We all got very very sick on Christmas eve. Wish we never ordered them.

It’s the first and last time I will order from here! My order arrived today and to my surprise 2 x boxes of extra large prawns are missing worth (£60) , the dressed crabs £16 each are very small and hardly any white meat, and the 2 x boxes of so called medium king size are the size of 50p coin at best. We ordered based on the reviews and have been really let down, we have a special occasion dinner, which I was really counting on these amazing expensive ingredients for a lovely surprise. The worst thing is there was never any mention of out of stock or any form of communication to let us know these items were missing and it has left us with no time to purchase like for like elsewhere!!! I have sent an email and left a voicemail but still no reply. The quality and portion sizes is definitely not value for money but the disappointment of being left high and dry is the worst pill to swallow. Wouldn’t recommend and will definitely not be ordering again.

Awful service & what survived was not very tasty. Left outside house in full sunshine and view of the road didn't ring bell, knock, or call the number provided, when discovered next day was spoilt They said that they would have sent a text, but no mobile number given, only landline. No explanation as to why they didn't call or text the landline, very rude and unpleasant.

Dear Art, We are sorry you were not happy with our delivery service. Both orders were despatched on Friday 16th August for delivery on Saturday 17th August as requested. There were no delivery instructions on either order and no mobile number provided, only a landline. The way couriers deliver has changed over the years will very rarely wait for you to answer the door.(As we mention in our delivery T and C's) Both orders, 3 boxes were delivered at 15.05 pm and left outside the front door. A text message is automatically sent when a parcel is delivered, as no mobile numbers were given, email notifications were sent at 9.00am on Saturday with a delivery time slot and then again once the delivery was completed. The emails provided received these. We have since been told it was a surprise so no one would have been aware this was arriving at the property. We have fulfilled 2 orders and delivered them within the specified slot on the day requested and to the correct address and notifications sent to both emails provided (no mobile numbers). We send hundreds of parcels a week with a 99.5% on time delivery success rate. Any customers with specific delivery instructions usually add this to their delivery notes or on the DPD app, as this wasn’t done, the driver delivered to the front door. As mentioned above, we have since been told this was a surprise so no one would have been aware this was arriving at the property. We are sorry you were not happy with our delivery service.

I bought a £100 gift card for my daughter's birthday. She ordered for Tuesday, 2 July, her birthday, but in the morning received a message to say the order would not be delivered until the next day. She contacted Wright Bros to explain it was a birthday meal but nothing could be done. It arrived mid-afternoon on Wednesday, 3July but was inedible due to its period in transit. Wright Bros are re-delivering on Sat, 6 July but her birthday was spoiled because of this. Very disappointed.

Hi Linda, Thanks for getting in touch. I'm sorry that your daughters parcel was delayed in transit. This was caused by an operating issue at our local DPD sorting depot. These issues are very rare but are not possible to avoid entirely. Our insulated boxes and ice packs are designed to keep the products cold for the duration of the transit period, even if there is a one day delay, however there are other factors that can effect this. We understand that in your daughters case, there were factors that resulted in the order arriving in an unsatisfactory condition, so we have arranged to replace the order at a convenient time. Absolutely abismal - I order mussels for a dinner party on the 22 Dec - sat here till 2 o'clock heard nothing - no calls, no messages, no email updates - rang only to be told this would now not be delivered today ! I understand that there are strikes and people are swamped but common decency says you let the customer know so that they can make alternative arrangements! I now have only a few hours to sort out an alterntive - due to the total lack of communcation! to say I am angry is an understatement !

We live and dine out regularly in London and love seafood, but the party of seven we were treating to a Christmas lunch were really shocked by the strange, surly attitude of our waiter. So much so that my daughter insisted the service charge was removed from the bill at the end. My wife was first to order, after which he suddenly said 'so is that it then?' looking at the rest of us. He then took the rest of our orders with a reluctant aire and immediately left without asking about drinks. One of my party then had to find him to come back and take our drink order, normally done first in other restuarants, the first bottle of wine was served nicely by a girl, when he brought the wine, he poured two glasses, then walked off with it and left it out of sight on a shelf, unattended, at the back of the restuarant for some reason, another of our party then had to find him again to ask where our wine had gone! Very strange behaviour, which really took the edge off of our Christmas reunion sadly.

We went for a drink,had a lovely time,decided to go to he Riverside which is just few steps away only to be approached by the waitress and accused of not paying for the drink we have had,althoy you have have to pay while ordering it at the till. What was a nice evening turned to be spoiled by the false accusations the waitress has made

Our delivery arrived too warm - some of the fish had internal temperatures above 8 and one was at 13 degrees. Quite surprisingly the customer service option was that it was all fine and that we should get on and eat it. In the end, they did refund some of the fish, but not all that was spoilt. I could never trust this service again and worry that there is a lack of consumer protection for fresh fish deliveries when the supplier takes this attitude. Your response below was factually incorrect, the fish arrived at the following internal temperatures which you have pictues of. - mackrel - 13.3 degrees - monkfish - 10.7 degees - tuna - 10.2 degrees - monkfish - 9.4 degrees - salmon - 5.5 degrees - hake - 6.6 degrees - sea bream - 6.3 degrees I did put all in the fridge immediately, I have thrown out the tuna and mackrel that you refunded. I've opened the monkfish - which stunk and certainly not fit for consumption. It's not a great experience at all - made worse by your lack of care. I will be reporting you to food standards - as you continue to ignore that you have a responsibility to deliver fish that is safe to eat. And you don't care when it doesn't arrive in a fit state. -

Hi Daniel, Thanks for taking the time to review your order. The temperature readings you supplied upon delivery showed most items between 5 and 8 degrees which is the ideal safe limit. Two items, according to your readings were over the target of 8 degrees which you were refunded for. A couple were at or around 8 degrees and the advice was, that these items would be perfect if placed in the fridge straight away. I'm sorry that you don't feel you can trust our service based on this as we will always endeavor to rectify any issues that may occur. Best wishes, The Wright Brothers
