I usually really like the quality of the products but in my last order of mussels over half of them were dead and couldn't be used so it was a massive waste of money. I had specifically ordered them from Weight brothers because of the high quality they usually have but this time they weren't to that same quality.

The oysters arrived as scheduled on the Saturday -nicely packaged with ice packs, clear instructions etc - beautiful! Unfortunately, when we started to shuck the oysters on the Sunday, at least 4 of the 48 were open. That is not good enough and is why I am giving you a 3 out of 5.

The fish so far - quite delicious. However, 2 fish came from Turkish fish farm.......Really?? I want to support the UK fish boats and farms.

The courier left the delivery at the wrong address .. despite the address label being clearly printed. Unfortunately for fish that is needed for a special event, I would hesitate to make a reorder.

I have ordered previously and placed two orders for xmas 2022. I was very disappointed with some of the expiry dates on the items ordered. We had to throw the cooked Lobster out as the expiry for this was the 26th and when we went to have lunch, it didn't smell too good so we didn't want to take our chances! We had another issue with the mussels that were ordered. I sent a photo of the ones that didn't open to Wright Brothers and they decided to send a refund for the amount that didn't open and for £2.55 on the 29th December. I personally thought that they would have sent out a new batch. Unsure whether I will be placing my orders with them in the future which is disappointing.

Fish has been very good in the past but they need to improve the delivery side of things. I have just had a delivery which arrived very late in the day and the ice packaging had all but melted. Hoping the fish will still be fresh. I have complained about this before - this is the second time this has happened. The courier should be told to deliver in the morning - quite simple really!

Food was delivered on time and carefully packed. We enjoyed the Goan curry but too many curry leaves in our portion for two, in excess of 20 leaves. We also had the salmon en croute, this could have been much improved if the skin on the salmon had been removed. Slimy once cooked inside the pastry, disappointing. Would prevent me reordering.

The 25% missu discount wasn’t applied, not even after querying they issue with customer services. A couple of the jersey oysters were dead and crab was not as tasty as in the past I’m afraid. So feel quality is declining.

Hi There, Thanks for taking the time to review your order. I'm very sorry to hear you were not completely satisfied with everything. I have checked and can see that the MISSU25 discount has been applied to your order but two items were excluded due to being in the 'Heat at home' range - these were advertised as not eligible for the MISSU25 discount, but everything else was discounted accordingly. Our crab supplier has not changed, nor have we had any similar feedback in this regard. We are very sorry a couple of Oysters were dead on arrival. Like the brand (have been visiting the restaurants and ordering online for years). However, lately, standards appear to have dropped. Bad service and items damaged or missing from deliveries. I would invite 'the Brand' to try and remember what got you to where you are today....

This is not what we would want to hear as our 'at home' team work tirelessly to continually improve the customer experience. I have looked at your order history over the past year and can only see one issue that we have been made aware of (leaking scallop meat) which was quickly addressed. If there have been other issues we would strongly urge you to inform us so that we can address these too. Please rest assured that although we will never be able to completely eradicate issues occurring (this is a highly complex industry to operate in), this does not stop us trying! In the last ten months, we have introduced next-day deliveries, near 100% recyclable/compostable packaging, and expanded the range to include 'Heat at home', 'Pantry' and 'Fresh Meat' among other products. We continuously check that our prices are competitive and have introduced countless depot and website updates all aimed at improving the customer experience and driving quality. I’ve been really pleased with you in the past , but this time my order was missing a lobster the packaging was open when delivered ?although you sent the lobster as soon as I called you( thanks very much for that) it was a gift to my elderly parents who were looking forward to the lobster ‘ it sort of ruined the anticipation / presentation of the gift

Our first order was great. However, our second order was a bit of a let down. We ordered on the 27th June, the parcel was received by the couriers on 29th in the morning but not delivered until 19.02 on the evening of the 30th. All the cold packs were totally defrosted and the box smelled a little. We managed to use most of the contents (although some of them were on the verge) but had to dispose of the scallops as they were very smelly and black and we didn't want to risk it.

Hi Salvino, Occasionally we do have to subsidise the odd product if it is unavailable on the day of dispatch, but we will always try to let you know in advance. If there is ever an item missing completely from your order just get in touch and we will rectify the situation. Our pickers and packers are pretty sharp, but mistakes can occasionally happen. The lobster was lovely but there was a problem with the dry ice equivalent which had leaked everywhere. The box was wet and everywhere was slimy and very messy to unpack. I also thought the lobster was a bit pricey for the size but we enjoyed it which was fortunately well sealed and wrapped and didn’t get any of messy slimes stuff on it

The quality is usually very consistent but on occasion, the odd oyster can be underdeveloped inside. Ordered a seafood platter with lobster and was informed that I would get a frozen lobster instead….. not happy at all. Besides being frozen it was a Canadian lobster and not a blue one. Very disappointed. When speaking on the phone with the lady she said that before New Year they had a solution to prevent this from happening….. why was the solution not applied earlier?!

There are occasions when we are not able to get fresh lobsters, either because the weather is against us or there simply aren't enough landed at the market that day. We try to keep a small amount of frozen stock so that we can offer this as an alternative, but will always try to let customers know beforehand. We have recently upgraded our infrastructure so that we can hold more live lobsters going forward, as we know nothing quite beats a fresh Lobster! Best wishes, Team Wright Brothers
Two experiences 1. I was disappointed to get an email at 11pm the night before my last delivery telling me that the sardines I had ordered were being substituted with mackerel. I already had mackerel in the order so I asked for the fillets to be removed and to get a refund for the sardines. I had NO response and the mackerel fillets arrived. Now that delivery comes via DPD and not your own van the response is less flexible. 2. On the previous occasion the fish was left in my front garden in the rain and not with neighbours as instructed (I did complain about this and got a response from customer services which was good - photos below) I feel the service level has deteriorated compared to 6 months ago.

Very disapointed with the lobster, very tough tail meat. Package delivered to wrong address, complained to delivery co, they did not reply on 2 occasions.
