The recipes on the Fast800 app are unappealing and meant having to cook alternative meals for others. So much so, I found myself substituting recipes from the fast800 books, or elsewhere and then calorie count, so it defeats the object. There were other aspects of the app, the usability, which I thought were very good and I am sure a lot of people will benefit from the directed approach.
