The Range gets "Jobsworth Award of Stupidity" from me.
I went into the Blackburn Branch before they closed today. I asked my 15 year old to hold a pack of knives. At the counter she handed the pack to the woman serving at the customer services desk with me (mid fifties, white beard) standing behind her.
The cashier refused to serve her without ID and when I said I was her father and the one buying the knives, she refused to sell them to Me because the person who had handed them to her was underage. Is this the height of stupidity or am I missing something.
