I went in The Range website and bought chopping board for 12.99 . I made a payment to the range through the range website. I had no idea that of anything about range market place . The chopping board said 40 cm which was what I wanted, but when it came, it was 50 cm long and too big. I am an elderly disabled pensioner and found it hard to carry it all back to the range shop to take it back and then told her I can’t take it back to the range because of the marketplace which I had never previously heard of. I assumed I was buying it from the range after following instructions. It cost me £6 to send it back definitely won’t be using that service again other stores like next sell things for other people, but happy to take it back to the store as our John Lewis very disappointed in the range where I have been a really good customer for many years . I know you will tell me that well it’s your fault because you bought it through the range marketplace but really not happy with your service As it stands, it has cost me £13 for the chopping board and £6 to send it back and I haven’t seen any of the money back so far Sarah Roseman

The Range customer service is the worst I’ve ever come across. Bought a couple of sofas when came was damaged and very poor quality. Wanted to send them back 3 weeks later I’m still stuck with them emailing daily. Very very very poor ….. Stay away …

I ordered curtains in September, after being given several delivery dates and contacting customer service several times they have again told me to wait another 3 days. I have now asked for a full refund. In this time I have made orders to Australia and China who have managed to complete delivery

Never again will i use this store! Tried to return a faulty item to the Harrogate store but didn't have my receipt. The Duty Manager was extremely condescending and rude. Lectured me on the need for my receipt. Showed him the transaction on my bank statement. Said it wasnt his fault the item was not fit for purpose. Value of the item was £12 and i would have been happy to exchange but this was not offered. Ranted at me in front of two female assistants and despite initially saying he would refund got so angry he then refused to give the refund and walked off. Eventually gave me a gift card. I could no longer argue with him. It was embarrassing having to stand there and take this verbal abuse especially as one of the assistants was smirking. Then I realised he was on a power trip and wanted to look good in front of the two young female assistants. Don't shop at this store if you want good customer service!

I will never order online again. Purchased a table in august and was told it’d arrive in October. Surprised for it to arrive a week earlier but soon disappointed when I’d noticed the two boxes which were meant to contain the table top and legs had only contained two table tops. I asked to swap a box for the legs only to be told they need both returned and then they’ll deliver my original order in a week. Now they’ve been returned and I get an email saying I’m not receiving my order until February!! Trying to get answers from them is like talking to a brick wall. I’ve never received such a bad experience and now I’m without a table for Christmas. Devastated doesn’t begin to cover it.

Ordered an item online but within the hour realised the description did not match the photo so tried to cancel. However they do not offer a telephone number on which to contact them. They offer 'BOT' automated chat, which is worse than useless, WhatsApp or email 'contact form' that promises to reply within 48 hours which is likely to be far too late. The parcel has now been dispatched! What company don't offer a contact by phone facility??! This has been a very frustrating experience! I will never shop online or instore ever again.

At the Range in crawley Sussx. I could not return or exchang a light buble wich did not work. I had purchase it that day and l show Them the receipt but they would not give me a refund. So l will go to B&Q or the Pound shop next time.

The Range Swindon, for FOUR weeks running i have tried to buy wild bird food there. Time after time the shelves have been empty. When I asked, the answer was not enough staff to put supplies out! It's October, you have plenty of staff filling shelves with CHRISTMAS stuff!

I use to work at the range distribution centre, they only employ non English speakers and non experienced managers, I wouldn’t stay in 1 week, customers don’t waste your money, the quality items are from Temu company but the range selling it more.

Had paint mixed at the Selby Range store. I have used the same industry ral number several times for different types of paint, always a great match. The paint supplied by the Selby store is not even the same tone. I returned to ask them to add the dyes again, as it was far too pale and obviously missing some of the dye. Their Assistant Store Manager, Claire, refused point blank to help. She argued that the previous store hadn’t helped me in this way, which they had. She insisted that I had to contact Dulux directly … no contact details supplied. Was really rude and sullen from the start. I took the photos and ral to another decorating suppliers, they said that it looks like one of the dyes is missing, so re-adding the colours could help. Unfortunately their machine couldn't take my tin. I am now left with no paint to finish my kitchen window. It’s a struggle for me to do this anyway; I had kidney surgery last Nov, a tumour removed from by throat in May, have several chronic conditions and need more kidney surgery (removal of part or all of my kidney). I am exhausted anyway without the additional stress of a company that provides faulty goods, and refuses a simple action to try to rectify it. They sold paint that is not fit for purpose.

We visited the range team valley gateshead this morning I went to order coffee my husband who has asthma had to sit on 1 of your benches he slipped off 2 lovely lady rann over and members of your staff joined them TAO VICTORIA VANESSA also a another member of staff a lady but did not get name and manager steve helped him up calmed me down I cant thank them enough luckly he is OK the staff are a credit to company thank you 1 again

No problem with the store. Obviously gets busy at times, and isles get cluttered. Have used the Hereford store a lot over the years, but recently two members of staff seemed very rude, no cheerfulness or communication. The one member of staff Courtney gave stares and rolled her eyes, when we had just gone through the till (there was another costumer waiting right beside us) she then went on to her phone. We have found there are a few members of staff including Courtney that seem to just hang out at the tills talking. We have started using this shop less, and will be using home bargains and b n m more.

do not bother visiting. i went with my disabled daughter and over stayed in the carpark by 14 mins. the allotted time is an hour and a half, and getting disabled people in and out of a car takes time. when i got the parking ticket i appealed and did not receive an answer. when i tried to contact the parking company there was no contact details and it has now gone to dept collection at £170. penalising the disabled seems to not matter to them at all.

I wish I had read the reviews page for The Range Ordered Multiple Items 21/9 - Items Missing from the delivery 24/9 Impossible Battle to Get customer services to understand this VERY SIMPLE logistical and picking failure (That exists as an every day issue in every single Online Sales Company) I needed this item today 26/9. I have been fobbed off and told to wait for it - Today the Contact us button on the website is mysteriously not working.. and I am being IGNORED on WhatsApp because after having been again advised that this item is still in delivery (Scheduled 9 Days after I paid for it) I asked for the tracking number on this item - Customer Services are Obviously not able to find it - Because LIKE I SAID.. It was supposed to be in the previous package. Your Email Confirmation SHOWS THAT. Please DO escalate me - If anyone accountable with autonomy to resolve issues is actually watching. I don't work diligently every day in Customer Services myself, to be treated this way when I spend my hard earned cash on something I need on my day off

Will never use them again. It's a nightmare to return the (second delivery) of defected items. I gave up in the end.

The shopping was great but the cashier was terrible she told me she had applied my student discount as I had spent over £40 but when I got home and checked she hadn't she lied to me terrible customer service I emailed customer services head office to be told digital uni days is unacceptable really all uni discounts are digital nothing is in paper form also told the amount spent does not include Icelands when clearly the receipt forwarded shows shopping at the range NOT Icelands obviously not bothered to even look at at the receipt DIABOLICAL service all round and expensive won’t be going again

Ordered two table lamps online on 28/08/25 told 3-5 days for delivery it's now 07/9/25 and still no lamps.wish I had read reviews before reviews before I had ordered them. Will never order again from this disorganised company very poor

l ordered a bed they sent 2/3 parts wrong I went to customer support and was told they'll pass a message along to the supplier wait 3 days for a reply I got a reply and was told wait 3 days we'll deliver the right one, it never arrived. I then contacted customer support a second time to say it still isn't here and was once again told that they would pass on a message and to wait an additional 3 days for a reply, when I expressed that l'd already done that and it just wasn't good enough I was told to have a great day and the chat was cut off The customer support is atrocious the delivery is and has been atrocious and I'm now stuck with half a bed that's too small and no help from the range or their supplier !!
