"\u00a31320 online order. Paid extra for \u201cEXPRESS DELIVERY\u201d online which advertises, choose your delivery from 5 days as I wanted the delivery in time for my Daughters birthday party.\r\n\r\nStandard is from 8 days.\r\n\r\nOrdered online on Saturday 30th March and was told I could choose a delivery date on Thursday 4th April.\r\n\r\nEmail received Friday 5th April that my delivery would be late and I still can\u2019t choose a date. After 2 hours on the phone to customer services I was told they don\u2019t know a date yet and I would be refunded for the express delivery charge. \r\n\r\nWent to my local store on Saturday 6th April to ask if they knew where my furniture was. I was told it was on their system that it would be delivered on Wednesday 10th of April (for some reason customer services didn\u2019t tell me this on the phone) Also, the employee at The Range told me that all orders are 5-10 working days if paid for in store regardless (no extra charge) and they shouldn\u2019t be advertising EXPRESS delivery as it\u2019s all the same, this apparently happens all the time, customers are always complaining and meetings have been held about this by The Range.\r\n\r\nReceived confirmation today Wednesday 10th April that my furniture now won\u2019t be delivered until the following week. I rang XLDelivery who they use and they told me that The Range have got it down on their system as STANDARD delivery and there is nothing they can do, earliest they can send it is Monday 15th April. \r\n\r\nAfter another 1 hour and 20 minute phone call to get back in touch with The Range customers services, (lady putting me on hold several times, while she got help on this) I was then told that I will not be refunded now for Express delivery as I have accepted that I want it delivering on a date which I didn\u2019t choose, I was told that\u2019s the day it would be delivered regardless and I won\u2019t be receiving any refund. I can make a complaint or review.\r\n\r\nNot going to be here in time for her birthday party, no refund on delivery, and was always down as standard. It may only be \u00a310 extra but if they are doing this to 1000s of customers then something needs to be said."

“I can't even be bothered to go into detail. Please please please take it from me. DO NOT USE THEM TO ORDER ANYTHING. BORDERLINE CRIMINAL. I DON'T KNOW HOW THEY GET AWAY WITH IT. THEY ALSO DELETE REVIEWS, THIS IS MY FORTH, THEY KEEP DELETING THEM. I AM TAKING ON MYSELF TO PLACE THIS REVIEW EVERYTIME THEY DELETE IT. BE WARNED DO NOT USE THEM”

“The Range is a great store bringing affordable products to the masses! It has an easy layout and amazing prices. One suggestion is to ensure that customers recognise the simple queuing system and know how to use it. When this is abused, it has to be the store’s retail assistants who endeavour to solve problems and try to guide those who don’t know the method of moving through the single queue to the multiple tills. It’s such a shame when customers abuse this or simply don’t understand the system and then ignore those customers who explain they are next in line. Please be more forthcoming and communicate to your clientele!”

“I've had a few reasons from time to time to have a moan about the range in Aldershot. I've come across some of the staff who don't want to be there, and usually don't want to put themselves out for customers, there is staff who will help if asked, but one of the male staff who over a long period of time has always been helpful, and with a smile on his face, he always seems to be working. He has on a few occasions asked me if he could help, and this morning he seen me by the compost bags, helped me to the tills with my purchase, and took them out to my car. I had to ask his name as he is a lovely friendly helpful member of the staff, Jack thank you, always stay the way you are, hopefully you will go up the ladder in life.”

“Amazingly, l received the 5 black picture frames, ordered before Christmas, in good order and my pictures look fabulous in them. The box packaging was ridiculous (pictures attached). The 5 frames were all close together in a box too large for my items, with some crunched up brown paper at one end only and they were rattling around in the box. The box arrived damaged and split. Someone was watching over this delivery or the delivery driver had packed his van very carefully. Thank you Amazed customer”

“I shopped at the range in Clacton, on Thursday 22nd of November, and found it to be a rewarding and easy shop. I was trying to purchase a present for a 6oyr old man. I asked a member of staff, Maureen, for advice. She was a lady in her 50’s, with blonde to white hair, about shoulder length, and a very pleasant, relaxed manner. She made some helpful suggestions, and I found her attitude very nice indeed. The store was very busy but I didn’t not feel rushed at all. I can’t remember her surname but I think it began with a W.”

“Fantastic 'Range' of items. I ordered storage, garden items and a whole host of great value stationary items (which surprised me). Many of the things I ordered were cheaper than a huge well known online retailer (I know because I compared!). Delivery time not too bad.”

“You have no need to shop any where else. Most things you require are in this store. Only complaint is that so many people go upstairs to toilets which are on ground floor. A few notices around the ground floor and lift would avoid this problem. I was in the restaurant yesterday when I was asked three times for toilets. There is a notice on back doors but you don't see it till you get upstairs. Makes people angry.”
