Placed order. No acknowledgement of order. They took money from PayPal, which they said had not received order or payment. Still waiting outcome. Customer services appalling. Order online at your peril!!!!!

This has been the worst online shopping experience I’ve ever had. Despite placing an order online, there is absolutely no customer support available. I’ve sent multiple emails and messages, yet no one has responded. Instead of real assistance, I’m met with a frustrating maze of automated chatbots that do nothing to resolve my issue. The lack of communication and support is unacceptable. I will not be purchasing from The Range online again and would strongly advise others to avoid it as well.

Ordered Christmas decorations last year. They sent me completely different items and were completely unhelpful when contacted. Nightmare getting a refund

Called in to The Range in Ipswich. What a total disgrace, stacks of unpacked goods left in isles, scruffy shelving and the garden Centre was like a bombsite, no plants, a leaking roof and no staff. Will not return.

I ordered some paint, it was delivered damaged and they told me it was my responsibility to get rid of it! Weren't interested in dealing with my complaint and ended the chat when I asked to speak to a manager. Very unhelpful company with rude customer services staff. Apparently the telephone lines have been disconnected, so you have no alternative other than webchat, WhatsApp or email to contact them. May just have to go into the local store and complain.

Single white wardrobe had scratches on door, didn’t realise until assembled after several emails they sent another door which was damaged, I asked for full refund and they said disassemble it and repackage as it was when delivered 🤣 😡 once back they would inspect it and decide on refund amount. I said knock 30% off and I would keep the original wardrobe, after sending out 2 damaged packages I thought was fair, they weren’t having it, this has been going on since before Christmas. THE RANGE CUSTOMER NOCARE SERVICE This is the first & last time I will be buying anything online from the RANGE.

Just got back fron the Harlow store what a dump , it is more like a jumble sale , the majority of the stock is not priced , pallets blocking aisles rubbish all over the place , tried to find the white gloss paint and gave up total waste of time never again , in future I will spend my money elsewhere in a shop that values my custom .

I was returning a small dog jacket which was too small and there was dog hair on the jacket as we had tried it on the dog for size for all of two seconds but the dogs a terrier and full of hair loss. The customer care assistant said we needed to clean it and then return it. We did that ( it only took a few mins) and we returned to the counter. The customer service lady who we had originally spoken with and who was slightly passive aggressive first time around didn’t seem overjoyed with our return. She checked the jacket and found none of the hair that was her original issue on the jacket and she then remarked that it seemed to have been worn I pointed out that it didn’t fit the dog and that was why we were exchanging for the bigger jacket. She then complained about the paper tag on the dog jacket and said we ought not have pulled it off I explained that we hadn’t it was attached by the strap when we bought it and as it now was. She reluctantly made the exchange. As I went to lift the larger dog jacket having paid the 2euro difference the customer care assistant said in an extremely aggressive and sarcastic manner “ I must get you to the sign this” her whole attitude was appalling!!!! I asked to speak with a manager and she said “ So you want a manager” , I said “Yes” and she called one. I was so angry I was shaking and I am not sure I conveyed what had transpired properly. This woman is not good for business I won’t go back to the range because of her attitude and the man who was angry with the same employee before me ( another customer) told us outside the shop that he won’t either. You can do your job but don’t treat people with as if they are crooks trying to hoodwink it’s a shop things may need to be returned from time to time it’s not a crime theirs no need to be a bully.

I have purchased several items from this company in store and online I purchased two recliner sofas from them and it was a good price and good quality the company kept me updated about my delivery and when it arrived two nice delivery men carried it in and assembled it top marks to everyone

They took money, tried to take multiple payments, constantly gave different dates for the so -called refund, which never arrived, Had to go via bank for reimbursement. SHAMEFUL BEHAVIOR THAT I CAN SEE IS QUITE COMMON CONSIDERING THE MANY REVIEWS BELOW. HOW ARE THEY EVEN ALLOWED TO TRADE???

Ordered a sofa and a table and chair set. Sofa never turned up , saying they have no record of the order despite happily taking the payment. Wouldn’t help at all telling me to contact the bank if I want money back. Table and chairs arrived with no screws / bolts or fixtures to be able to assemble the item so not usable at all. Trying to get them to send the parts is impossible, being sent from one person to another. Customer service is shocking.

Trying to arrange collection of items not as described and poor quality is impossible. Bot should be drowned as most unhelpful thing going. Managed to get response by email, emails back & forth not having questions answered agent in the end said she couldn't find my order after talking to me about it for 15 mins. Ridiculous people. So far stuck with 2 (not cheap) items I hate.

Customer service, what customer service. Ordered a bed in grey/silver for my daughter’s bedroom after fitting new grey carpet. Bed arrived and the head and foot boards are cream but the sides are silver. Contacted them to advise and was told all the boxes are the same. Asked is that the case with the cream, silver, grey, black and leather beds and told yes they are all the colour I’ve received. Very hard to believe. Was offered a full refund when I send the bed back but nothing else like alternative colour, different style or anything. Have sent numerous emails only to be told full refund or nothing. Not an option for credit towards another bed. Oh sorry I forgot that there all the same colour in the boxes regardless of what you order it will be cream headboard and cream foot with grey sides.

Still waiting two months later for my refund. Have received emails from 9 different agents. Not one bothering to understand the issue with the refund. An item I bought , just stopped working , so they very quickly and kindly offered a refund. I was very happy. But have I had one ? No. The email received today, states , if you don’t receive your item please contact us. Item??? They asked me to check with my bank. Have done this. And still they say the refund has been paid. Well who the refund has gone to is a mystery. Because I haven’t had one. So frustrating. I’ve asked them to phone me to discuss …. but no. Very poor show .

Really wish I had checked here before ordering. Sadly same as many here, they tried to take multiple payments for a one off Item on a continuous payment loop. Thankfully my bank saw it and blocked them but I had to change my debit card also that caused me massive inconvenience. No apology for that and I cancelled the item 3 weeks ago, refused it and sent it back as they asked and have had zero refund despite telling me they refunded me on over two weeks ago. The story and blame changes continually and new dates are quoted as said to have initiated the refund and nothing. It seems they can take money really fast and try several times in 24 hours but cannot manage to do a refund in over 3 weeks. I am forced to raise a dispute with bank and have written to the retail Ombudsman and have said I will need to take them to small claims court for the refund and lost time. Proof of parcel return, failed refund policy according to their own timelines and the fact they tried to make me pay multiple times for the article has been sent many times with over 20 emails back and forth and getting nowhere. Each time you are answered by what seems a made up name and zero ownership. It really is unbelievable how they treat people and I was told they were reputable but sadly my experience has been terrible as many here. I don't know if their words mean much to me and so called dates of supposed refund have given zero monies despite me waiting over the legal time under consumer law, thus I think it will end in court. My sincere advice is to research well who you buy from. The refund process has abysmal and really I doubt people will ever get one unless they escalate to possible court action and do as I am.

Lost my Grandsons birthday parcel. Won’t discuss where it is as my name is different to my daughters.Awful customer agents.Will never but anything from the range again.
