Avoid at all cost. Purchased a goose down duvet on line and received a polyester duvet. Clear case of wrong item delivered and after two weeks of live chat & emai still no resolution from the range as they try to pass the buck onto their supplier! Not good enough. Handing over to my bank for a charge back. The stress of dealing with them is by far the most costly part.

Bought an olive green bucket chair £109 range marketplace on line arrived looked lovely but that evening saw the bottom edge was puckered material not pulled right looked odd as other side tight Contacted range an finally after a few BoT attempts got an email reply Then began the story Several emails later after they twice asked for order page picture am my pictures again also I get told supplier has three days to respond Five then go by an no reply from range I then get reply asking what I want to do! Two days go by after I’ve told them discount or return They then ask if I can tell them which part is damaged sk they can send a new part!!! Well as it’s a bloody chair with a fitted cover which they can clearly see on the pictures I’ve sent that they asked for in the first place boy was I mad So now waiting for the next stupid reply from some chap called Monumart!!!! This is my third problem with the range on line so now deleted the app an if you look at the amount of complaints anyone is asking for trouble buying from them Hundreds an hundreds of complaints

Very bad service and the online service does not work and not fit for purpose. Nobody from the range answers any emails and there is no contact phone number you can use. Do not recommend anyone using their online service because once they have your money they lose interest. They are probably working a very sofisticated scam business.

I recently moved house and place a fairly large online order. I received no confirmation that this order had confirmed and having contacted The Range, was advised that it would not complete because I'd put the wrong address on it (my fault entirely!). On this advice, I placed another online order to my new, correct address which was successful. Later that day, I had a confirmation that my original, incorrect order had confirmed and had been successful. As a result of this, I have been charged twice and have had deliveries sent to my old address where I no longer live. Despite notifying the range immediately, I have received next to no support from them, having to ring around the 4 different courier companies delivering these parcels myself and attempt cancel the deliveries. I will presumably have to pay for the return of these parcels which were delivered when I was advised that they would not be! I cannot fault the order which was correctly placed, however based on the issues I had and lack of support, I would definitely recommend against using the Range marketplace!

The Range customer service is appalling!! I ordered 2 chairs of different colours but they sent me 2 of the same colour. This was nearly 3 months ago and after about 40 emails back and forth they have still done nothing. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!!

On my first visit to Babbacombe store the manager was argueing with a customer about a return which would give Basil Fawlty a run for his money. Second visit the same manager was in the same aisle as myself and my thirteen year old daughter and he said to himself "fxxking idiot I've forgotten the ladders" I carried on with my purchase of an inflatable kayak and left on the fourth visit I wanted to return the kayak as it had inflation and stability issues the member of staff was helpful until they called the store manager and I wasn't disappointed the ever rude patronising man returned first telling me I had lost a paddle as it was a two person kayak I pointed out there was only one shown on the box and it said paddle(singular not paddles plural) on the itenery after much arguing he then said the puncture repair patch was missing I said the one he removed from the box and placed on the desk failing there he made me wait while he blew it all up and said it would go down straight away never heard of a slow leak then he then said no refund or replacement so I made him pack and check all items wished him a nice day he obviously needed the money more than me

Bought a hot water dispenser online - it started to leak. Customer service non existent, no refund for faulty goods. Told to fix the electrical appliance myself. Ended up putting a claim in through small claims court.

a male member of staff followed me around the Wigan store the whole time I was in there today - he made me so uncomfortable I left without purchasing anything. I will be taking this further

Absolute shocking company, Do NOT buy from The Range Market Place online. Once they have taken your payment, you have zero way of contacting them. Yes there is a faux customer service online, but it is run by BOTS. You cannot get intouch with them. Any emails sent from your range account, are internally fed and you won't get a copy to your email as proof of what youve requested. There is no external email address where you can write, keeping time specific proof. Because of this, if you try to cancel the online order, within 14 days, as is your consumer right in the UK, you have ZERO proof of doing so. They will give you an 'expected date of delivery' with your order, you then have to wait for the dispatch email (from the supplier, who is sometimes third party) at this point you realise you are completely alone, in a waiting game of who knows how long, where the Range have taken your money, and there is no-one at the Range to contact. Infact there is no way of contacting them, to speak to an actual person. They have bots on X who will give you cut and paste answers, and try to get you off X onto private messaging so people complaining are pacified, and it doesn't become common knowledge how range market place customers are being treated. There is no complaints procedure on their site, you just go round and round speaking to bots. It's a disgrace. If, I ever get money back I will be surprised. Either way I will never shop at their stores again.

Absolute dumpster fire of a company. Never buy from them. Had to cancel a large order (over £100) due to the incorrect delivery date being displayed and am still waiting for a refund after almost 2 months and literally hundreds of emails back and forth with customer service representatives repeating the same useless information. Never, never buy from them!

I brought some good from the Range ,I was quotes thirty pounds for delivery .when the delivery men came to delivery my goods they wanted forty pound. I did not have other ten pound to spend just like that, I had know choice but to pay them the other ten pound or I was not going to get my goods. The delivery man got his phone and show me the price list what the Range had and it was forty pounds. My goods I got from the Range was from my birthday money I got from my family. I would not have brought the goods from the Range if I new it was going to be forty ponds . When I went to the range to complain they offer me a ten pound voucher. I am a pensioner and have to count for every penny. what good is a ten pound voucher to spend on good to me when you can not buy any think in the Range for ten pound what a pensioner would want in goods in the Range. I think it is a insult. BE AWARE IN DELIVERY CHARGES, As I was told by the delivery men it has happen to other people, the complaint still goes on.

We purchased the New Hampshire Corner dinning set with ice bucket (grey). Wish we hadn’t…absolute rubbish. The very 1st summer all the grey seat pads faded terribly…not good but I decided I could live with that. But this year…just our 2nd summer with the furniture all the wicker has split and is falling off…so bad the entire set is going down the tip! I have a 2nd set purchased from @George Asda over 15 years old that is still in excellent condition…and was much cheaper. Customer service don’t want to know as older than 6 months!!! Never buy anything from The Range

Avoid Avoid Avoid! I placed an order and cancelled within 5 minutes, still waiting for a refund 14 days later, no direct contact number to speak to anyone on. Live chat have no idea and keep saying the refund is coming from their supplier now saying a refund has been issued. PayPal had to intervene.

Purchased a garden sofa set. Extremely poor quality, once put together. Complained to customer services, just told lies upon lies, excuses and them saying I gave them incorrect bank details. This is now 4 weeks. Wanted to return item, however was told,if no orginal boxes,item could not be returned, so was basically told 10% refund or nothing. The customer service is the worst I have ever experienced, staff are rude, refuse to help and just will not answer question. No 10% refund, stuck with poor quality item. Will never use this company again.

I ordered a garden umbrella It got delivered and then I realised I had ordered wrong one It’s in the same packaging. I took it back to the Range to return Informed by the rude customer service agent that it can only be done online to return I drove home with the huge boxed umbrella You can only WhatsApp the range with no phone number to talk to a human being 3 days later I get a response to return the huge boxed product to Nottingham!! They expect customers to post at their own cost. I AM NEVER SHOPPING WITH THEM EVER AGAIN

Ordered item showing as in stock at Portsmouth store, order successful but email soon after to say order cancelled. Phoned the store, young female said there wasn't actually any in stock and to call other stores one by one to see if they had the item in stock ! Advised her that I wouldn't be doing that and it was my first and probably last order from the Range ... she replied that they have plenty of other customers and put the phone down ! Awful service, awful company if this is the norm with them.
