I bought a rotary airer with a 10 year warranty it's now less than 1 year old ( I actually thought it was only 3 years warranty) , it was covered up over winter and when I took off the cover it has seriously rusted on both sections of the pole.
TR response was as it's over 6 months old they expected my to commission an independent vat registered engineer to inspect it , pay the fee and then send the report to them and they would consider the next step. This is for an item that retails at £50. They have no clue what they are doing nor do they seem to understand the obligations of consumer rights. I've contacted the manufacturer directly and await their response. TR are messing around with their suppliers reputation. I was about to purchase some garden furniture costing over £1500 but having seen their response to a £50 item I can honestly say I'll never ever buy anything from the range in future
