Bought 7 baubles in the sale. Price on label was £1.29, sale was 50% off. When this was put through the till I was told they were £1.79 each not £1.29. "Someone should have crossed off the price" so basically they wanted to increase the price by 50p per item before they discounted.
Surely this basically unethical. When queried they could not override the sales price but they could override the price on the item and increase it.
Very bad practice.
