I used the pigment colour remover on some build-up from previous semi-permanent dye. It did a good job of bringing out the old pigment, but didn't quite get all of it. Unfortunately the toner I bought for afterwards was too light for my hair and didn't really work. Will be trying again with the next colour level down!
