“I absolutely love the results :) my hair feels so soft and silky afterwards and the colour is a beautiful natural brown. The kit gives you so many tools to use for future dying and the quality of everything was great. I have very long hair so there was more than enough product to colour everything. In these lockdown times, it was great to have everything delivered to my door in an all-in-one easy kit. I’m thinking I may never need to go to a salon for colouring anymore haha. “I purchased a demi permanent in the shade dark ash blonde as recommended to me for my goal of doing a grey blend. I was happy with the quality, the customer service, the scent of the products, & the convenience of the packs. However I was not happy with the colour itself. For a dark ash blonde, it was still very warm. A lot of orange undertones coming through which I hated and has completely ruined what I was trying to achieve. I don’t believe it is a true ash colour and for a dark blonde it was very dark, definitely more like a medium brown. So just be very careful with your colour selection. I wish I had tried it in a semi permanent first because now I’m stuck with unwanted warm tones that are only fading to be more warm with every wash. I now have the difficulty of trying to remove as much colour as possible and will likely need foils to achieve this which is not what my hair needed.”

“I love the hair colors. It has no unbearable smell and no itching at all. My greys come shows very quick within two weeks of coloring, not sure if its my hair growth or the colot fading. However i love the shade color. I have also got my brother into it as he also gets itchy scalp from most of hair colors.”

“As a mum without a lot of time to sit in a salon, I found the shade to be a win! Everything I needed was supplied, the colour was beautiful and my hair felt to soft and healthy after the application. I also purchased the peppermint shampoo and conditioner as my scalp was flaking and dry, after two washes the flaking has reduced by 80%. Highly recommended The Shade!”

“I ordered dark ash blonde thinking being a cool colour there wound be no golden undertones.Unfortunately this was not the result I have Golden undertones 😭 not happy.”

Hi Debra, Sorry you weren't happy with the colour result. There are no warm tones in Bellaria 7.1 - it has a dark blonde base colour with cool ash tones. It sounds as though that colour was not the right choice for you - it was possibly too light as lightening always reveals natural warmth which contributes to the colour outcome. We didn't recommend Bellaria 7.1 for you. Unfortunately you didn't contact us for a colour recommendation before you ordered the colour. We have no information about your natural or current colour and we can't recommend a suitable colour without that information. “Light ash brown was the suggested colour. It turned out so copper, especially at the roots. I've had a variety of box and salon dyes in the past, and I have never had such a bad experience. Definitely wouldn't recommend”

Hi Charlotte, Sorry you didn't get the result you were looking for. Light Ash Brown has zero warm tones, so your copper isn't a result of the hair colour. “It took me a few trials to find the right colour I found Copper golden brown which I love. It gives my hair thickness and shine which I also love. The product had no nasty smells and was easy to apply. Will become a regular user of this great product.”

“Firstly, I love the Shade hair colours and always reorder. However, I just used their Moisture Shampoo and their Moisture Conditioner for the first time. The Shampoo was just fine, but the Conditioner was very disappointing. My hair was in knots and tangles when I tried to comb it before drying. I feel like it did absolutely nothing for my hair and I had to use my own organic detangler just to get the comb through my hair. I'm always reluctant to leave bad reviews but I received an email asking for me to leave a review, with no direct contact offered, which I would have prefered rather than go online. I believe everyone deserves a chance to respond first but wasn't given a way to do that.”

“I’m impressed! I have been getting blonde highlights for about 18 years and decided to go back closer to my natural colour, as I am currently postpartum and was hoping to give my hair a break from bleach while I recover from the PP hair loss. Given I was looking at going from blonde to brunette I was VERY worried about my hair ending up green. I used the online hair consultation option, and after sending through some images of my hair and my inspiration/goal photos, I was recommended a mix of Montecristo 6.1 and Genoa 6 (half of each) in the Demi permanent option (10v developer). I followed the directions by applying to my roots first, and then through the lengths and left it on for about 20-25 minutes The colour is probably a little bit warmer than I was hoping for, however it looks really natural and I am still very happy with it over all! It has faded very quickly, but I expected that over the top of blonde hair (so I ordered enough for 2 - 3 applications at the beginning). My hair feels really nice and I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase again.”
