“I absolutely love the results :) my hair feels so soft and silky afterwards and the colour is a beautiful natural brown. The kit gives you so many tools to use for future dying and the quality of everything was great. I have very long hair so there was more than enough product to colour everything. In these lockdown times, it was great to have everything delivered to my door in an all-in-one easy kit. I’m thinking I may never need to go to a salon for colouring anymore haha. “After many hours of searching organic hair colours and comparing reviews,I found 2-3 different ones and kept coming back to The Shade .The reviews were positive and the service seemed great.So happy I went with my gut feeling ! “Bought a kit to cover my roots and extra for the lengths of my hair. In the end I didnt need to use both as there was more than enough to cover it all! So so sooooo happy with the outcome! Much better than paying $150 every 6 weeks for a root touch up! Worked so well on my greys too!”

“Not overly impressed with the product after a week of having to keep resubmitting to speak with a colour consultant I was given a colour option that just didn’t work. I have copper base in my hair and used intense ash but it just made my blonde dark and left the copper. Super annoying that you can’t go back and forth with a consultant you have to resubmit every time and they don’t remember what you just told them. Now I need to go over with about 6 highlight kits to get my hair back to what I wanted but I’m scared they also won’t work. Inspo photos were creamy honey blonde and now it’s basically brunette.”

“Pleasantly surprised by this product. I have naturally dark hair but going grey on top along the parting. I have always gone to a salon that offers Davines products (Italian) and have a demi colour as I prefer the way the demi colour fades without leaving a strong demarcation line. I thought I would give The Shade a go as I noticed that they offer a demi option. I bought the Montecristo Light Ash Brown. I have long hair so received two tubes and two sachets. I only used one of each as I'm really only focusing on my roots and then I blend it through the lengths. I am very impressed with the colour and how it makes my hair feel. I think it looks just as good as if I went to the salon and paid nearly $200! I will defintely continue to use this product and have recommended The Shade to my friends.”

“Hello, why I like the products, I don’t like that the developer end conditioner come in single use bags. I only dye my root so I don’t use the entire product in one application and would’ve good to have something I ca close and use the following time.”
