“For someone who has never home coloured their hair I was apprehensive about choosing, using and getting the colour results I Iike. I have very fine hair down to my waist with a mix of dark blondes, reds and fading white blondes from bleaching and dare I admit it, some greys ("sparkles") as my niece calls them. So its not easy to colour for even an expert hairdresser! I wanted to go a little darker and get grey coverage. The result was a beautful shade of chesnut that actually far better suits my skin tone and my eyebrow tattoo colours. I am so happy with this first attempt! The advice Camilla has given me for the next round if I want to create some low and high-lights is very detailed and I feel like I can't go wrong. I am really happy I chose to use "The Shade". The selfie is my old colour and the other is me trying on my dream wedding dress for next year with my new stylish hair colour!”

“I worked at a well known hair salon for a few years before having children, and every time I’ve gone to treat myself to a salon visit the colour never comes out right, with the shade I achieved the most perfect auburn from the comfort of my own home without the crazy expensive bills ontop! Never using anything else, you’ve got a customer for life!! Super impressed!”

“This is a great product with excellent grey coverage. I have thick curly hair with resistant greys and this works really well I have health issues that prevent me using a lot of products but this has never given me issues at all The smell is a lot more minimal and I have zero reactions for great hair colour afterwards”

“Really love my colours and the fact no parabens. My hair looks better and seems to be less brittle. Have had compliments. Very very slight criticism… I didn’t like the colour applicator bottle. Very hard to squeeze out plus it doesn’t mix as well as the tried and tested mixing bowl and brush. But again, a personal preference. Love this and the shampoos and conditioners. (Wish we could buy a larger 500ml Bottle). Please also no pump bottles. The squeeze out ones are much safer in the shower. With other brands, they provide the pump bottles and I once had one slip out of my hands and nearly causing an accident in the shower. (Not your products).”

“It was so scary doing my own hair! However I was so happy with the end result that I brought more to do my 2 daughter’s hair. I’m super happy with this product!! Unfortunately the cost of 3 of us visiting the hairdresser is far too much so I am super happy to have found ‘The Shade’ as it is now affordable to have gorgeous hair!!”

“I was a bit nervous to use this as I had used hairdressers for my colour for a long time. But the advice was perfect including colours and application technique. I have over 50% grey and I am brunette and the coverage was great. Will definitely use again and recommend to my friends!”

“I wanted to try the shade (dark brown) hair colour because I was experiencing a really itchy scalp from the one my hairdresser was using on me. What I found was that it wasn't causing any itching or discomfort whilst being applied or the day's following. So far so good, and I'm really happy with the grey coverage also.”

“I’m 62 years old and have long red hair and for the life of me I haven’t been able to find a colour that matches what I wanted , it’s either to dark or to light , I decided to try shade after I’d been looking for awhile and I wasn’t disappointed at all , it was a perfect match to the colour they said it would be , also there is no nasty smells and my hair felt amazing after I’d finish .
