“I brought the subscription so the application kit was fabulous, bowl, brush, clips cape all great. The products didn't have that horrid chemical smell the boxed colours have. No burning on my scalp at all and my hair felt soft and in great condition after my colour. I choose beigh blonde which is probably a bit darker that I wanted, but I will choose a lighter blonde text time. Overall fabulous product great price!!”

“I didn't realise how badly I need my hair colour to be refreshed (as seen in pic) My hairs gone from light brown with natural ginger and blond highlights to a beautiful deep chocolate brown. When in the sun my hair turns to a cherry cola brown, really brings out the natural highlights. Super easy to apply yourself and have already recommended to serval others. Definitely will be purchasing again, great quality for money and better results than a hair salon.”

“I've always preferred to do my own hair to save money but I never remember to do it or remember what colour I used. So I am enjoying the subscription. I like that it came with the tools I needed in the first order and you can order extra for thick hair. Also - I love the stuff it came with that prevents staining on your skin.”

“I was discussing with my hairdresser that I was experiencing a very itchy scalp, so I asked her if she wouldn't mind if I brought my Shade colour in and would she apply it for me. I was very fortunate that she said it was no problem'. After having it done a few times now I don't have an itchy scalp anymore, there is no chemical smell and my hair is so shiny and healthy. Very happy with my Shade No 3 Darkest Brown. Highly recommend it.”

“The quality of the dye is good, but no matter what shade of brown I pick it seems to have amber highlights on the dye so my hair looks a bit red. I’ll try again with an even cooler tone.”

“I'm honestly impressed! From someone who has done their own hair colour for year's and used many home hair colour kits the way they set up the colour kits for you their really thinking of the customers and trying to make the process as easy and enjoyable for everyone as possible even if your new to colouring your own hair or roots. I mixed the golden blonde shade with the ash blonde because I like my current level of my hair colour but felt my colour was too ashy on me and wanted some warmer tones in my blonde! And I love the results! My new favourite blonde shade now. Thank you 10/10 would reccomend.”

“I’ve been using The Shade hair colour in Salento (Darkest Ash Brown) for over a year now, and I honestly couldn’t be happier. Before switching, I was paying over $200 every 3 months at the salon just to keep my roots fresh, and now I get the same beautiful result at home for a fraction of the cost. What I love most is the ingredients. It’s one of the least toxic hair colours I’ve come across, way better than most of the boxed dyes you find in chemists or supermarkets. It’s so easy to apply, I just pop it on while watching TV or getting a few chores done. The colour is always rich, even, and leaves my hair feeling soft, never dry or brittle. It’s honestly been a game-changer. Affordable, effective, and kind to my hair and scalp. Couldn’t recommend it more if you’re looking to ditch salon prices without compromising on quality! A large Developer bottle would be a great addition to the range.”

“This was my first time using The Shade after my salon colours had become an unjustifiable expense. I was very pleasantly surprised with how well it turned out! The colour was a little darker than I had expected but that was my fault for choosing the darker shade. I've gotten used to it now though and I love it! There was no unpleasant smell like you get in the salon and I honestly think the colour is better than my last couple of salon colours! It has excellent coverage of greys. It will be interesting to see if it fades between colours.”

“I’m really enjoying The Shade My hair feels amazing afterwards and so shiny I had to change my original color as it wasn’t covering my greys enough and their customer service was fantastic. Immediate replies and they recommended a different shade which I’ve stuck to. Price wise I find it way better than cheap supermarket products and going to hair dressers which costs a kidney!!! Definitely sticking to this and have recommended it to all my friends who constantly compliment my hair Highly recommend”
