“It was so easy to mix. The bleach bath was easy and i did it twice for desired lightning. I got a haircut after to feel the whole vibes of fresh hair but much cheaper.”

“I have been exclusively using the shade for all my hair colouring needs, and love the colour and results, the shade products don't have that strong chemical smell you can get with the typical box dies, and having a subscription allows you to always have your next hair colour ready to use when needed. If you are thinking of trying The Shade, I would totally recommend it.”

“I love this hair dye! I've been using it for a couple of years now and I don't see myself changing anytime soon. I use Palermo (copper golden blonde) on top of my naturally dark blonde hair, which I've lightened slightly with bleach. The attached picture is my hair a few washes after dying it.”

“I was given some advice from a local mothers group page about The Shade as an alternative to expensive salon colours. Myself and my daughter are converts and the cover and lasting effect is salon quality. We love the barrier oil and wipes included and have never looked back. I love the auto shipment as it’s a set and forget to when those sneaky greys peek out.”

Hi Mohamed, I'm sorry you didn't get the result you were looking for. You advised us that you have henna in your hair. We advised you the following: "If you have recently used henna in your hair, then we don't recommend that you use our colour. Henna blocks permanent colour from entering and being permanently deposited within the hair. If you last used henna a while ago (eg. three months ago or longer), and if the henna product you used did not have metallic salts in it (you will need to check the ingredient profile) then you could use our CPR product to remove the henna pigments you have now and then colour using our products, following the application directions in the colour pack". I can see you didn't include our Vit C Colour Pigment Remover (CPR) in your order. The fact that "It didn't do anything" was therefore not unexpected. Best Regards, Marco

“Very happy with the result. Usually i have a bad reaction to hair dyes, and they leave a lasting chemical smell for days, but not with this one. No headache or lingering smell and the colour is a very close match to my regrowth, which was my goal to match it as close as possible. I also really liked the conditioner it came with, it made my hair feel so soft. I would definitely recommend trying this if you have sensitivities.”

“I really loved this product. Being an eczema sufferer with most hair dye, salon and home colouring, my scalp stings. I did a patch test and no sting and after fully applying the hair dye still no sting, so I'm very happy about that. The colour was great too. I am not sure how long the colour will last as I am only 3 weeks into my first colour, but so far so good.”
