“With The Shade I had at-home hair colouring experience with professional-grade results! I am happy that this hair colour is free from ammonia, PPD, parabens, and phthalates, making it a gentler option for my sensitive scalp and definitely better for my hair. They look great and have increadible colour. It s really aesy to apply, although I ve got long hair and do it by myself and always I get perfect results. I rally love it!”

“I was really hoping this would be a game changer for me as I've recently become allergic to what's in normal dye products & reading everything in this is natural.However the next day my head became extremely itchy & irritable the same as other dye products.Smells great & good coverage but not long lasting & I covered it perfectly.Sad it didn't work for me as I was really hoping this would be it :(”

“I got so sick of spending hundreds of dollars in the salon, I used to always dye my hair when I was younger using those cheap box dyes. These are so much better than that. I have tried a few different colours and have loved every one. It is so easy, and love that everything comes in the box for you. Also that you can sign up for a membership and get it shipped to you as often as you like. Fantastic products! Highly recommend x”

“I recommenced dyeing my hair this year at 65 - after going grey at 56. I started using products that reflected what was important to me - no nasties in their products - not tested on animals and a great range of colours. All the colours that I initially tried from other companies produced very flat colours that dried my hair so much that it felt like straw. And then recently I was very lucky to find ‘The Shade’ and their products have given me great colour - and colours I can mix and match - and they are an ethical company with no nasties in their products across their whole range. I also love that you can purchase permanent colours with different volumes of developer with the 27 volume developer catering to more resistant grey hair - such as mine! And their customer service is fantastic! My whole experience of The Shade as a company and with their range of products is as close to a salon as possible with so many variations of colour and care available to you. The Shade is nothing like my usual experience of buying a box of colour tint in a shop or online - I am loving my new hair colour and the condition of my hair.”

“Very pleased with the dark brown colour. Covered grey bits and has lasted well even though my hair grow quickly due to my own recipe which I only do every 10 washes (black Jamaican caster oil/coconut oil/olive oil). What I can say is The Shade easy to apply and no itchy scalp! Which as I have got older happens with supermarket colours. Will definitely repurchase.”

“**Review: Excellent Dye Kit Experience** I recently tried this dye kit and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of both the dye and the additional accessories, including the cape, clips, and bowl. The dye applied smoothly and left minimal mess, making the process much more enjoyable. I particularly appreciated the inclusion of the special oil with the pack; it added a nice touch. The dye itself felt like high quality, but I did notice that the color turned out to be more red-toned than the golden shade I was aiming for. I’ll definitely adjust my choice for a different color next time. Overall, a great product! Highly recommended for anyone looking to dye their hair at home.”
