The socks look and feel like a rubber swim cap of sorts - not at all soft sock-like in feel or what was expected. The picture applied is generally okay and what was requesteed. Just the texture of the product is not really what I want to give as a gift which is why I purchased them. It seems as though the feet would sweat terribly in that type of material.
