Absolutely terrible customer service.
Section 18 of the checkout terms and conditions sent out at time of purchase clearly state that if the event is cancelled or rescheduled we will be offered a refund or entitled to attend the new event.
Section 7 of the terms on the website clearly state that if you CANNOT attend the rescheduled event you WILL offer a refund for the full face value of the ticket.. yet you are still refusing to refund people for afronation. So much for a fair refund policy!!
Not only in this ... under the consumer rights act 2015 schedule 2 Consumer contract terms which may be regarded as unfair... Part 1 section 19 a term may regarded as unfair if a term has the object or effect to transfer the the traders rights and obligations under the contract, where this may reduce guarantees for the consumer, without the consumers agreement. You have done this by saying the refund is down to the discretion of afronation.. the payment was made to ticketarena so surely my contract is with you?!
