Needed 4 keys to be cut in Longton, Timpsons quoted over £30 for the job, I went 2 minutes around the corner and paid Below £20.
I asked for the best price and was informed that it was a set charge.
The independent store I went to were very efficient and even gave me a free coloured key head and ring to carry them on.
I think that the difference in cost, over £10 was too much to excuse for a 5 minute
service, and I will not be tempted to use them again.
The attendant was, however, polite.
