I’ve only gotten 1 box so far, but let me just say…I’ll definitely be getting another one. I received 15 items in my box. Some sweet, some savory, and some spicy. I personally think it was a perfect variety of treats. I was actually surprised by the size of the items as well. Most of the items were full/share size. Included in the box, is also a little book with some interesting facts about Japan as well as some facts and descriptions of each item in the box. I found that very helpful and fun to read as I am very interested in learning as much as I can about Japan and their culture. The box and packaging itself is also super super cute and I plan on keeping as much as I can just to put on display in my kawaii themed bedroom. As for the treats, there wasn’t one thing in the box that I didn’t enjoy…which is actually very surprising. I’ve tried other treat boxes in the past and there’s usually at least one thing in each box that I don’t find very favorable. This one was so different. My favorite item from this months box would probably have to be either the “Mr. Onion Taro” or the “Sparrow’s Egg Crackers”. I also really enjoyed “Tokyo Layer Loaf” and the “Cream Stew Pringles.” I highly recommend this box for anyone who’s as interested in Japanese culture as I am. It’s a great and affordable way to get a little taste of Japan right in your own living room.
