*TL;DR: Decent product but not as good as competitors, and more importantly, dishonest business practices and severely lacking customer care.* Fairly large array of items (at least with the premium box), but mostly just sweets; Lacks the variety of competing services like Bokksu. If you're really into candy that might be fine, though it does get a bit repetitive. The monthly theme and little bits of Japanese culture are kinda cute. The biggest con is that it feels a bit like... well, a con. They really go out of their way to obscure the auto-renewal of the subscription and keep it in fine print, give no option to opt out of it, and provide no reminders until the next payment has been processed. Also, of course, no refunds once the payment has been made, even if the payment is for multiple months and none of them have actually shipped yet. When opening a ticket with their support system, one of the main answers that automatically pops up is exactly about this, stating only that they don't give refunds. So, you can tell this is an issue that happens to a lot of customers, who end up paying hundreds of dollars unintentionally. Not surprising, since the company clearly made design choices to encourage these kinds of accidents. On top of that, they offer rewards for giving them reviews, hoping to drown out the complaints they get for their poor customer service with even _more_ shady manipulation. In my book, honest business practices are more important than any specific product (especially considering the quality of the product isn't exceptional either, and arguably worse than their competitors), which is the main cause for the low score.
