1. Poor customer service. Due to Covid, I got my April box in June. I can understand that. Then they changed my shipping to express automatically and charged me $10+ on shipping my May box. I have opened a ticket as soon as I got the charge and they asked me to change my shipping method. Then I changed my shipping method right away. However, weeks later I still got charged for my June box. I opened a ticket again and see what they say, but my experience with Tokyo treat is beyond disappointing.
2. The chocolate completely melted in The May box that cost me $10+ extra to ship. See the picture.
3. If you have subscribed for a whole year, you will not get your money back if you change your mind mid year. On top of close to $400 a year you paid for, now you want your shipment tracked? Please pay extra.
3. The treats are not worth the money. You will get what you actually like by going to a local Japanese store. But if you don't have one near by, then by all means order these. Just expect to be disappointed.
